1. A few drops of Argan oil like Deepshine Oil can be mixed in with your styling product to give nourishing benefits as you style. Deepshine Oil is one of Entertainment Tonight host, Nancy O'Dell's favorite products!
2. Apply your conditioning treatment to the ends first and gently work your way up toward the scalp. Comb through for even distribution using a wide-toothed comb.
3. To create a great balance in your hair, alternate days using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner with a strengthening shampoo and conditioner. For moisturizing, I recommend new Deepshine Oil Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner.
4. When using flat irons and curling irons, be sure to set the temperature to match your hair type. Finer, color-treated hair requires a temp much lower than coarse, resistant hair. A great analogy: you use a different temperature to iron silk than wool! When curling or flat ironing your hair, be sure to use a heat-protecting spray, like Rusk Thermal Iron Spray—it will protect your hair AND make the results last longer.
